Behavioral Health Stakeholders Combine Efforts on System Redesign
As a consumer led advocacy network, the IBHA works to include the consumer voice in all conversations about behavioral healthcare system design in Idaho. We believe this can be achieved by prioritizing workforce development along the entire continuum of care, reforming payment models to reflect accountability and transparency, and by listening to advocates who provide critical feedback on the system’s efficacy.
The IBHA relies upon feedback from consumer advocates to help inform policy priorities that affect behavioral health in Idaho. We’ve been leading those efforts through public testimony, community outreach, meetings with legislators, and consumer-driven events and discussions with behavioral healthcare professionals from across the state.
